1. Who We Are

This service ("Werewolf Whispers AI", "Wolf Whisper", the "Service") is operated by Chien-Hung Lin (林建宏) ("we", "us", "our"), an individual sole proprietor based in Taiwan (R.O.C.). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About the Product

Werewolf Whispers AI is a single-player, browser-based social-deduction party game inspired by the classic tabletop game "Werewolf" / "Mafia". All characters in the game are fictional AI-controlled non-player characters (NPCs). The Service:

• Does not depict, promote, or simulate real-world violence, weapons, gore, or harm to real persons. The "elimination" mechanic is an abstract voting outcome (a player is "out of the round"), consistent with the original tabletop party game.
• Does not involve gambling, wagers, betting, prize draws, loot boxes, games of chance, or any opportunity to win money or items of monetary value.
• Does not generate, edit, or imitate the voice, face, name, or likeness of any real, identifiable person. AI-generated dialogue and synthetic narration are produced for fictional NPCs only and are not deepfakes.
• Is intended for users aged 13 and above. Younger users require parental consent.

3. In-Game Items (Energy & Pass)

The Service offers optional one-time purchases of "energy packs" and a recurring "Adventurer Pass" subscription. Please note:

• Energy is a consumable in-game resource used solely to start a game round inside Wolf Whisper. It is not a virtual currency, not stored value, not redeemable for cash, not transferable between accounts, and has no monetary or exchange value outside the Service.
• The Adventurer Pass grants additional in-game benefits for the active billing period only.
• Unused energy or pass benefits are forfeited upon account termination and have no cash equivalent.

4. Acceptance & Eligibility

By continuing to use the Service you accept these Terms in their entirety. You represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity (or parental consent) to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

• Engage in any unlawful activity, fraud, money-laundering, or chargeback abuse
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
• Generate, request, or distribute illegal content, sexual content involving minors, content depicting real-world violence, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes, impersonation of real persons, or malware
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including probing, scraping, reverse-engineering, jailbreaking the AI, or circumventing rate limits
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs

6. AI-Generated Content

• You are responsible for the prompts and inputs you submit and for how you use AI-generated outputs.
• AI-generated dialogue and narration are fictional and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected; they do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.
• We reserve the right to filter, refuse, or moderate inputs and outputs, and to suspend accounts that violate Section 5.
• You must have the necessary rights to any content you upload as input. Rights-holders may submit takedown requests to support@wolfwhisper.xyz.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title and interest in the Service — including software, documentation, artwork, character designs, and branding — belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

8. Service Level

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Payments & Subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

For full payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled; you may cancel at any time via paddle.net.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. Upon termination, your in-game items and account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the prior 12 months. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Taiwan law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of (a) content you submit, (b) your unlawful use of the Service, or (c) your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taipei District Court shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
